The Gatehouse Cottage
The 1820 gatekeeper’s cottage stands alone at the foot of the drive, beyond the gardens, where the only sound at night is the river. Stone walls two feet thick, a wood-burning fireplace, a small kitchenette for a glass of wine before dinner, and a private terrace. For honeymoons, for a long week of writing, for anyone who wants the estate without the house.
